Reading time is around minutes.

Raspberry Pi went on sale in late February last year. By the end of October this year, it was sold in over two million copies, as it is reported.

According to forecasts, the number of two million copies sold was to be achieved by February 2014, but thanks to great interest in this piece of hardware, milestone was achieved a few months before the deadline. Immediately after the launch of the model with 700 MHz ARM chip with 256 MB of RAM there was a high interest with more than 100,000 copies ordered. In the first ten months of availability 500,000 units were delivered and in January this year it was announced that the number of deliveries is approaching one million copies.

Raspberry Pi is a miniature computer based on ARM and Linux that provides enthusiasts with the basis for developing and implementing ideas. Originally, the computer was launched at a price of $35, and this year there is also the issue with the price of $25.
