Path of Exile has been recently updated to version 1.0.2, which has brought new weapons and equipment, new recipes, fixes technical problems, as well as a slight rebalancing mechanics. Of course, work on future updates are still in progress.
Path of Exile is a free-to-play title that relies on earning something that in Grinding Gear Games call "ethical microtransaction". Absolutely all the contents of the game are available for free, and with microtransaction you can buy only cosmetic accessories in the form of additional animation for the characters or the different colors and skins for weapons and equipment.

Action RPG Path of Exile recently marked four million registered users. The creators of the game from Grinding Gear Games explain that Path of Exile daily play more than 250,000 users, and that they have recorded a significant number of new users after the game came out in late October from an open beta.
