88 million for transition CEO of BlackBerry

It was recently reported that a new transitional BlackBerry's CEO  is John Chen. It is now known how many millions it takes to take one of the currently most difficult jobs in the industry with regard to the situation in the BlackBerry.

According to available documents, Chen's basic salary will amount to 1 million dollars annually, with an option for an additional two million bonus, depending on the success. Additionally, the new CEO received BlackBerry stocks that are at this point valued around $85 million, and he will be able to cash them after a period of five years. In the event of termination, Chen will receive $6 million severance.

Chen will remain at the position of CEO until a new CEO is assigned. So far there is no information on the progress of the selection, but rumors say that Chen is most likely candidate to permanently take the lead position at BlackBerry.
