Reading time is around minutes.

South Korean giant LG has announced that they will bring next year first smart phone with a flexible screen to the market. It should be the first phone of its kind in the world that will be produced in larger batches. Apparently the basis of this mobile phone will be flexible and unbreakable LED screen, which will be possible to bend at every point of the screen.

The original shape of the screen will be concave with a radius of 700 mm. In addition, the company announced that it would be the lightest display ever built into a mobile device, which will weigh only 7.2 grams and have a diagonal of 6 inches. This diagonal will also be the largest ever manufactured OLED display for mobile phones.

Along with flexible screens, LG also develops batteries designed for flexible devices, and it is expected that fully bendable mobile phone could soon become a reality.
