Spanish manufacturer of mobile phones based on the Firefox OS, Geeksphone, on the first day of the sales sold out all copies of the mobile phones that are now intended primarily for software developers.

Devices called Keon and Peak were sold in just one day, but the companies say that soon new volumes of devices will be available, and their sale are about to continue. Cheaper model, Keon, is being sold at a price of $119 and has a screen diagonal of 4.3 inches and a resolution of 480x320 pixels. Peak is sold for $195, and is based on the 4.3-inch with a screen resolution of 960x540 pixels.

These devices have not been designed for a broad market, but primarily for application developers who want to test their work on real devices. Many mobile phone manufacturers, including ZTE, Samsung, LG Electronics, Huawei and Sony, have announced their devices based on Firefox OS for the next year.
