Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Z delayed because of the Radeon R9 295X2?

New Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics card with 12 GB of memory was supposed to arrive to stores on April 29th, in the meantime, rumurs have emerged and saying that will not happen after all.

Rumors were true this time and on  April 29th store shelves remained empty from Nvidia's pride and joy, but the official reason for this is still unknown. However, unofficial rumor is that a major problem  is in the lower clock speed compared to AMD's twice cheaper Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card, which is obviously Nvidia's main rival.

The latest date when the Titan Z should arrive on store shelves is May 8th this year, and then we will find wheter the clocks of graphics processors remained the same or has Nvidia decided to further optimize (overclock) it.
