According to the published specifications the new Mini should have a 4.5 inch AMOLED screen with 720p resolution, which is better than last year's Galaxy S4 Mini model that had 4.3 inch AMOLED screen resolution of 960x540 pixels. The processor will probably be Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 while the RAM size has remained the same as its predecessor (1.5 GB of RAM). The device will come with 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front facing camera, 16 GB of internal storage space and a 2100 mAh battery. Modeled on the top model Galaxy S5, Mini will have IP67 certification, which means that it will be resistant to dust and temporary immersion in water.
From its larger and more expensive brother, the Mini will take applications S Health and S Voice, but heartbeat meter will not be installed. It is not yet known when it will appear on the market, however, it is assumed that it will be in June this year.
