Recently Leap Motion finally arrived to sales, a device that detects movement and potentially recognize user commands through gestures in the 3D world. Essentially, Leap Motion is a system with cameras that can detect users hands and fingers at exceptional levels of precision. However, to use this device, you need a software, and applications that offer this has been downloaded one million times already.

Of course, one million figure still refers to the number of downloads, not the number of existing applications, which is important to note for such a young platform. Number of applications is growing, and currently there are 87 group, which include tools and games like ported Fruit Ninja, Cut the Rope, but also GameWAVE application that allows users to play Minecraft, Portal 2, and Borderlands 2 on the PC. The most profitable is still Geco MIDI, intended for musicians which use MIDI controllers.

HP and ASUS have announced the integration of Leap Motion in their notebooks, which will surely be an important impetus for this technology.
