Luxury Android from Vertu

Reading time is around minutes.
vertu-ti

Vertu Ti is the new luxury unit from this manufacturer. This is the first model with Android, and comes with a whooping price is $9,600 just for the Starter Edition. And what’s the most interesting; this phone is not best at anything. For those of you that are not familiar with Vertu they are a company that makes outlandish and impractical luxury phones. Originally these were Blackberry only, but now the luxury company is moving into new waters.

What justifies the price is a casing made of titanium and that the unit is assembled by hand, on the cover of the SIM card you will find a laser engraving with the name of worker who made it. Specifications are not anything too impressive, it has Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon with clock speed of 1.7 GHz, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 64 GB of permanent flash memory, rear camera of eight megapixels, 1.3-megapixel front and a battery of only 1,250mAh. The 3.7 inch display has a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels, and there is no support for LTE. As far as software is concerned it will come with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.

The not so impressive specifications are justified by Vertu with the statement that this is not a device for short-term use, and that once you have it, nothing will ever be the same ...
