Reading time is around minutes.

maxpaynemobile_600x200With all the Apple news yesterday (and filtering over to today) we thought you might like some news about “the other guy” in the mobile race. We are talking about Android her and no, they did not hold a massive dog and pony show. Instead we have a nice and simple announcement from Rock Start games this morning. Max Payne is coming to Android.

Yup that’s right Max Payne the dark hero is coming to “selected Android devices” on June 14th. According to the press release this is the full classic game so you are not getting some slimmed down port, but a great game that can be run on your Android device. The list of devices is pretty long and we imagine that this list will expand over time.
You can grab Max Payne if you own one of the following phoes:
Motorola Razr, Razr Maxx, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Photon, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rezound, HTC One X, HTC One S, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung S2, Samsung Galaxy R, Sony Xperia Play, Sony Xperia S, Sony Walkman Z Series Media Player

You can also get some Max Payne love if you have one of these Android tablets:
Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Medion Lifetab, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 / 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, Toshiba Thrive, HTC Flyer, HTC Jetstream

So on June 14th look for Max Payne for Android so you can relive some of the original game… maybe as you are playing through Max Payne 3. Max Payne is also currently available through Apple’s App Store.
