LG has announced Chromebox, and it is an all-in-one computer based on Chrome OS. Chromebox is intended for the execution of "lightweight" applications within the browser, and accordingly is appropriately equipped.

According to published specifications, the computer will be equipped with a 21.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, it will also have an Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB SSD. Connection wise there are two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 connectors, Ethernet network port and an HDMI input which enables the computer to serve as a classic monitor. The camera, microphone and speakers are part of the package, but the touch screen is not, so the management will only be able via keyboard and mouse.

The price was not disclosed, and Chromebox will be on display at CES in January, when it will be published with more information.
