New delay for GameStick

Written by

Reading time is around minutes.

Although it should have appeared in the hands of end users last week, micro console GameStick will start selling on 15th November, together with PlayStation 4. This should be the final delay, so no further delays will appear after this one.

GameStick is the fruit of a successful Kickstarter campaign in which developers collected $647,658 of the requested $100,000,  but according to the original plan, the console was supposed to be released a few months ago. The first delay came as a result of the huge demand, after which the U.S. retailer GameStop entered the story with its own investment.

In order to atone for the delay to potential customers, GameStop changed the price of the device. It will now be available for $79.99, which is $20 less than a direct competitor Ouya.
