The MediaTek company has recently surpassed the competition with the introduction of the first true SoC with eight cores. In order to improve their market position, they  did not stop at just that, but they presented another product, its first SoC based on ARM big.LITTLE technology. It is a heterogeneous architecture, which combines energy-efficient less powerful processors with the stronger ones that consume more power.

New chip mark MT8135 is made up from asymmetric processor with four cores, two weaker Cortex A7 and two powerful Cortex A15 cores. As for the graphical part, MT8135 is one of the first chips that delivers PowerVR Series6 Rogue GPU architecture by the company Imagination Technologies. It is a GPU model PowerVR G6200 that can extract four times more power from the arithmetic logic units than its older brothers based on PowerVR Series5XT architecture.

According to AnTuTu benchmark MT8135 is located slightly below the current high-end Snapdragon 600 chip, but he can thank the latest GPU architecture for those results. However, processing power is a bit weaker, but provides energy savings.
