Tesco , the British chain of retail and online stores, recorded 400,000 sold copies of their very own tablet called Hudl since September when it appeared on the market. Tesco is currently the second retail chain in the world after Walmart by realized profits.
Only during the Christmas holidays in December they sold over 100,000 copies of Hudl. Tesco Hudl is a tablet with a 7 inch screen resolution that has a 1440x900 pixels resolution, quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of free storage expandable with microSD cards. The device has two cameras, rear 3MP one and the second one in front with 2 MP resolution.It supports the dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The operating system is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which has more or less remained in its basic stock version, the only thing besides the basic functions known to all Android devices, Return, Home and Options buttons, is a dedicated Tesco button for quick access to Tesco services.
