Best sales were achieved by Microsoft's Xbox, who sold 130,000 units in April, a total sum spent on hardware, software and various accessories related to Xbox accumulates at around $208 million, which represents almost half of all spendings on gaming industry products in the U.S..
Sony and Nintendo have not released data related to sales of their game consoles and accessories and software. Looks like gamers are waiting for the next-gen PlayStation and Xbox, so we can expect sales to increase again once they are launched.
