Free to Play documentary on Dota 2 and eSports is here

Valve's Dota 2 documentary Free to Play has finally appeared on Steam. The premiere was held in San Francisco, and was followed by a live broadcast via Twitch TV service. Free to Play follows three professional Dota 2 players, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin, Benedict "HyHy" Lim and Clinton "Fear" Loomis, their preparation, and finally participation in the first iteration of the now famous tournament The International.

 Movies shows quite a detailed look at the challenges that the world of eSports is hiding at its highest levels. In this 75 minutes long movie, you can see how mentioned players prepared for tournament, and their way from just a regular kids that were playing a lot of video games to becoming professional gamers competin in a tournament with $1,6 million prize pool.

As Dota 2 is concerned, the film follows the appropriate package of additional features called Free to Play Competitors Pack. Valve has confirmed that 25% of sales Competitors Pack will be forwarded to colleagues, and players who have appeared in the documentary.
