We'll just conclude that there is a lot of cat lovers, so here's an interesting gadged for all of them, or maybe just for the lazy ones, which will greatly entertain their pet, and give them a chance to relax a little and dedicate themselves to the home or other facilities. All that while their cat continues to play with the gadget.

FroliCat BOLT is a small gadget that uses automatic mode which with laser beams generates  different types of images and inscribes them on a flat surface, and a manual mode in which pet owners can control the "action". Apparently the cats are quite amused with plotted contours of mices, cheese, bats and similar shapes, for which they jump in an attempt to capture them. BOLT FroliCat will be selling in the U.S. at a price of $15.

[Ed - $15 is a lot to spend when you can do this with a $2.50 "laser" from a gas station. Cats are not too picky about the light they chase after. Still there are enough people that like gadgets and spoil their pets (I am one) that I am pretty sure this will sell a few units... Now if they can come up with a home defense laster that kills off intruders while singing a happy tune... or is that just in Portal?...]
