Google released MDK for project Ara

Google introduced the first version of Module Developers Kit (MDK) for Ara Project, which is available to all interested developers for free. If you are not yet familiar with this project, it is a concept of developing a modular mobile phone where users can select and arrange individual components depending on what they need from their mobile phone.

MDK 0.10 for Ara Project is still in a very early development version, but should provide insight into some of the details of the project to developers and give them the opportunity to provide feedback. After this initial version of MDK, Google has announced that it will be releasin multitude of versions before the first official version, which is expected later this year.

To get a bit more insight on this subject check the video about the whole idea, and how it gained massive popularity in such a short time.
