Currently this product is intended only for the Japanese market, but we all know that such things cannot remain only in Japan. One change that will certainly happen is different name for the device in other regions.
Of course the highlight of this device is the 5-inch Super LCD3 screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a pixel density of 440ppi, but that's not all this device can boast with. There is also QuadCore Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD slot. The camera is 8MP and shoots in FullHD. It has support for LTE and an embedded NFC chip, another very interesting thing is that this device is resistant to dust and water (IPX5). The new Butterfly should come immediately with Jelly Bean but has one flaw and that is a relatively small battery for such a device. The butterfly has "only" 2020 mAh to keep it running. We hope that HTC will launch it soon in all markets so that we can compare the difference between an HD and FullHD screen.
