Finally we have some insight into the new chips in Intel's Haswell line up. The Guys at the VR-Zone got a hold of the list of models whose launch is scheduled for the first half of 2013. The Haswell line of processors (Core i5 and i7) will initially consist of a total of 14 models - eight pieces will be more fuel efficient, and the rest will be "normal" processors for use in desktop computers.

The most advanced new chip will be the Core i7-4770K with a base clock speed of 3.5 GHz with four cores and 8 MB of cache. It will be equipped with high-definition graphics in the form of the 4600. The TDP on this model is declared at 84 W. The less power consumptive Haswells will operate at speeds between 2 and 3.1 GHz, and will have a TDP between 35 and 65 W. The top model of the low power Haswells will certainly be The Core i7-4770S it is the fastest with a 3.1GHz base and 3.90GHz boost clock featuring a hyper-threaded design, 8 MB L3 cache and HD 4600 chip running at 1.2 GHz

The processors will use a new socket, the LGA 1150 and will be built using a 22-nanometer process like Ivy Bridge. However, the architecture will provide improved performance and energy efficiency. The scheduled time of launch of the new processors is the second quarter of the 2013.
