The smartwatch is the device that everyone wants to make and that many people are already planning to purchase. This is not surprising as there has been quite a bit of news about them in the recent past (despite this being an old concept). Samsung, Apple, and others are pushing out their smart watches as companion devices and, in the case of Samsung, in conjunction with new phones. However the big boys are not the only ones entering the market. Guidertech, a Taiwanese company, is planning to build a smartwatch aimed at the healthcare market.
BlackBerry put all of their hopes in the latest model called the Z30, which represents the largest and most powerful model that the company has issued to date. It comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. It is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, while for fluid operation of applications and games Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM are in charge. It all runs on BlackBerry 10.2 operating system.

So, they’re pulling out all of the stops and testing a bunch of new technologies to not just finish the season in a solid manner but even produce a little sales lift this year. Retailers have set some aggressive goals for the season; and this year, they’re focused on the bottom-line. It all boils down to their ability to drive sales through strategically timed promotions and totally integrated marketing – web, social media, mobile device, in-store.
Company QSAlpha launched a campaign on IndieGoGo crowdfunding service in which they intend to raise $3.2 million for encrypted mobile device with a high level of security. Quasar IV device is the first cryptographic mobile device specifically designed to protect the digital identity of the user.
Although only few weeks have passed since Samsung introduced the first smart watch from the Galaxy Gear line, allegedly already in early next year we could be seeing his successor. Looks like they just wanted to publish their first version of the device just before Apple did, so now they plan to publish an improved version.
