Yesterday we covered Samsung's achievement, selling 10 million Galaxy Note phones and posted rumors about new model that is about to come. Today we found out that photos of new Galaxy Note II have been leaked to the internet. After there was leak of front panel pictures a few days ago now we get to see the whole device. It is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S3, and it may be a sign of authenticity since Galaxy Note was very similar to Galaxy S2.

The picture was given to KnowYourMobile by an anonymous user. No one can yet confirm if it is real or fake yet. The same source did reveal the expected specifications of the device. It should run on a quad core 1.5GHz Exynos processor, which can be found withing Galaxy S3 (another similarity), 2GB of RAM. The display will be a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. According to the source the picture won’t be FullHD because it dramatically shortens battery life. Beside that an 8-megapixel camera is included (again, same as Galaxy S3).

If we are looking on a the software side of the story, it should be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean,  but all assumptions could be removed on August 29 when Galaxy Note 2 will make it's debut at a press conference together with the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3. Even though we can’t confirm this will be the official design for the Galaxy Note II it looks promising based on the fact that the Galaxy Note was very much like the Galaxy S2.
