Sony struggles to meet the demand for PS4

The announcement of the upcoming VR device called Project Morpheus and the recent release of Infamous: Second Son have further spurred sales of Sony PlayStation 4 and Sony now thinks that they will not catch up with the demands of the market before summer.

Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment in a short interview with The Wall Street Journal at GDC 2014 admitted that they are struggling with high demand and that Sony will catch up with demands early this summer.

According to data from the first week of March, Sony has so far sold a total of six million PlayStation 4, and continues with the publication of the console to new markets as planned.
