This is not the first time that Wozniak Praises products which compete with Apple. In the past, he said that Samsung's products are excellent and expressed the wish that the iPhone starts using the Android operating system. Xiaomi is one of the largest and fast growing Chinese technology companies known for smart phones using the Android operating system, which are for now only sold in Chinese and Taiwanese markets. Their products have been successful due to the fact that they use high-performance components, but are sold at lower prices.

Company leaders have invited Wozniak to China to inspire them and their engineers to create new products that are at the same time competitive for market, but also a pieces of art.
