Wal-Mart and Target have revealed that interest in the Nintendo Wii U is surely big. The new console is already sold out in the United States. Some of the most famous and definitely the largest supermarket chains in the United States have stated that the Nintendo Wii U is already sold out. Specifically, Wal-Mart and Target are unanimous that the Nintendo Wii is sold out and that they were more than pleasantly surprised by the interest for the new console.

Of course, is still possible to obtain the console itself through other sources, both in the U.S. and Europe. Primarily we are talking about eBay and Amazon, where it is still possible to obtain your very own Nintendo device.  Nintendo has already confirmed that the suggested retail price will be around $300, but current prices at eBay for example are closer to $400.

One thing that was bugging new buyers was certainly the huge update you need to download as soon as you turn it on. It's around 5GB and it takes more than an hour to finish the whole process. Some rumors are that you could brick the console if you decide to turn it off during the process so be careful with it. The Nintendo Wii U was released in the U.S. on 18th of November, while in Europe and Australia should arrive on 30th of November.
