Nokia has announced a press conference for 25 February which is right at the beginning of the Mobile World Congress. Although there is no further information about this announcement, it can be assumed that is going to be about new devices and services.

According to rumors, Nokia will introduce at least one new high-end smartphone. In the last few days, there have been more and more rumors that Nokia is preparing a model codenamed Catwalk with an aluminum enclosure that should bring a different design than the current Lumias. Also, there is another model, codenamed Eos, which should have a PureView camera with a very high resolution.

Additional rumors going around lately mention that Nokia is developing a tablet based on Windows RT. There is a possibility that the device will be unveiled at MWC too sources say. Recently we saw a video showing Nokia’s Music+ apps on a tablet, but it was quickly removed from YouTube - many see this as confirmation that the company has a tablet in preparation.

Last year at MWC Nokia unveiled the mobile-camera 808 PureView. It is a Symbian device with a camera resolution of 41 megapixels, this was also the last Nokia smartphone based on the Symbian OS.
