The European company Ozone announces Blade gaming keyboard, which should start selling as early as next month. Blade is a membrane type keyboard and, has a distinct design and is equipped with a standard set of accessories and features tailored for gamers. Even though they promote it as the “cutting edge keyboard” it should be neck to neck with the ones like Logitech G110 which sell for around $80.

The keyboard has backlit buttons in two configurations (red or blue), the intensity of which is adjustable by sliding potentiometer in the top right corner. Then there is the option of turning off the Windows keys during game play, standard for gaming keyboard, and the option to store up to 50 different macros in five gaming profiles, each with its own button on the right side of the keyboard.

Profiles and programmed macros are stored in the built-in 128 MB memory, and Blade has 10 special macro keys and the ability to quickly change profiles during gameplay. Price of this keyboard is not yet published.
