The keyboard uses Cherry MX Red switches with linear response to pressure. Layout of the keyboard is identical to previously available models in the Professional line, but so far it is not available in Ultimate edition without labels on the keys. Das Keyboard Quiet still retains the properties of "louder" models like the full N-key rollover via PS/2 port, and 6-key rollover via USB, integrated control for multimedia and USB 2.0 hub with two ports.
Price keyboard on the manufacturer's site is $150. Versions with Cherry MX Blue and Brown switches, which are louder, especially the Blue ones, cost $ 140
