Razer’s concept design that certainly raised the spirits of the gamers around the globe will be made. Razer's CEO Min-Liang Tan posted a note on his Facebook page saying “If this post gets 10,000 likes/shares in the next 7 days, we’ll work on making the concept a reality and launch the product. On top of that, we’ll share some of the high-level concepts with you to crowd source some of the design decisions – For Gamers. By Gamers. We’d like to hear how you would like to design the actual tablet right here on the Razer Facebook Page, as well as take suggestions for specs, form factor, pricing, features etc.”  I guess there is no need to say that the wanted 10,000 likes/shares were passed with ease.

If you somehow still don’t know what Project Fiona than allow me to introduce you the world’s first gaming tablet. It has a Hybrid user interface designed for PC gaming and rather impressive hardware. It will feature Intel Core i7 processor, 10.1“ display with 1280x800 display that will support multitouch, a 3-axis gyro, magnetometer and accelerometer. Force feedback and Dolby 7.1 surround sound. Also it will be able to connect via WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. Those specs were in the concept design, and may be changed with the real device, but if I know Razer, they surely won’t change to worse.

When the device will be made and available is unknown, but don’t expect it too soon. According to Tan's Facebook the official specs are have not yet been decided and there are also several concept designs for the device. It is certain that they will keep two controllers attached on both sides, but could improve some components like display, since the 1080p displays for smartphones are in plans, it would be reasonable that they get it too. Razer's CEO also said “Next week we will start crowdsourcing questions on the Razer page” so expect more info on Fiona very soon.
