Samsung on their website unveiled a clamshell Android phone about which we've already heard a lot of rumors. The device codenamed W789 has 1.2 GHz quad procosor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Device comes with a screen diagonal of 3.3 inches, and provides a resolution of 320x480 pixels, and at the front there are three buttons with which users can receive or send text messages or surf the Internet without flipping the device open. When the phone unfolded, under the internal screen is of course the physical keyboard, which will recieve a warm welcome by quite a lot of users who dont like the standard smartphones we have today.

Beside above mentioned, other features are 1 GB of RAM, 5 MP rear camera, microSD slot, 1,500 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB 2.0. Among the interesting facts should be emphasized dual-SIM support for CDMA and GSM networks, and Samsung in the smart phone preinstalled Samsung Apps and ChatOn applications. Samsung has not announced the price of the new device, and now we know that it will initially be available only in China, but it is believed that it will soon be found on the U.S. and UK markets and the and then maybe in other parts of the world.
