Samsung Premium Suite

Samsung has prepared a number of new features for the Galaxy S III in the form of an upgrade named Premium Suite. Installing the suite will get you the Buddy Page, a function that will trigger an action or to start the desired application, depending on what you make with the phone. For example, The Buddy can automatically launch the music player when the user plugs their headphones, something I would like to see on all other phones as well, nothing worse than when someone calls you while you listen to music, and then when you plug the earphones (I don’t use earphones with mic) back again the music does not start automatically.

The Premium Suite delivers Contextual Menu, or the possibility that the first list is made from applications that are commonly used. Then there's contextual tagging, which gives information about a picture taken; like where it was taken, what the weather was, who the person in the photograph is. This is somewhat disturbing, for example a friend of mine recently purchased a Galaxy S3, and took a picture of his sister, the phone was brand new and he had only put the sim in it, but it still managed to somehow show the nick she uses on some forums, games and similar stuff. Let’s just say it will be a great app for smartphone stalkers.

Those who try to take advantage of the processing and graphics power of your S III will be amused with Multi Window, a function that allows you to use two applications at once. Then there is the automatic sharing of images via NFC, web page browsing like you were using an e-book reader (Reader mode) and display of Facebook news in the lock panel.

Do you think that the Premium Suite will be worth the bandwidth? Let us know in our Forum
