Support for ultra high resolution refers to reproduction of videos or games, and video or photo recording. Functionality will be possible to use on the mobile devices themselves, but also via the video output on the UltraHD TVs. In addition, the chip also delivers new generation of graphics. According to the manufacturer, Adreno 420 GPU delivers up to 40% better performance than we had with Snapdragon 800.
From Qualcomm said that they expect to see the first devices with the new chip on the market in the first half of next year. Delivery of samples of chips have already began.
