System requirements for Battlefield 4 released

Written by

Reading time is around minutes.

A little less than two months before the release of the long-awaited Battlefield 4, DICE and EA have released the official system requirements, leaving us plenty of time so that if necessary, we can splash money to upgrade our gaming machines.

To start a game it will be enough to have a dual-core processor with a clock speed of 2.8 (AMD) or 2.4 (Intel) GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a graphics card in the range Radeon HD 3870 or GeForce 8800 GT. Modest requirements will be joined by the not-so-modest 30 GB of available disk space. For comfortable playing, as usual, you will need a bit more powerful machine. The recommended configuration should be equipped with 64-bit Windows 8, six core AMD or quad core Intel processor, 8 GB of RAM, and AMD's Radeon 7870 or NVIDIA's GTX 660.

Battlefield 4 will be released on November 1st and will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A little later, after the new-gen consoles arrive to the market, we will receive the next-gen versions too.
