OCZ Files for Bankruptcy while Toshiba Looks to Buy Their Assets
OCZ… You remember them right? They were a company that blew up on the market during the heydays of AMD overclocking and performance supremacy. For a number of years they put out some solid products to the enthusiast community and did quite well… At least until other companies started following the same business model. You have companies like Corsair, Kingston Patriot that had always been there, but had not truly catered to the enthusiast market before (especially Kingston).
Twitter enters the stock market
Twitter, the popular microblogging service, during Thursday at 11 a.m. by the local time began public trading of its shares. Trade takes place on the New York Stock Exchange, under the symbol TWTR.
Layoffs at HTC America

HTC America currently employs 150 people, but the number will soon be reduced as it was confirmed by the smartphone manufacturer. Layoffs will hit 20% of the workforce which is about 30 people
Twitter purchased MoPub

Twitter has taken over the company MoPub, which is known for its own advertising platform for mobile devices. MoPub was founded in 2010, and has its own advertising platform for which they claim that it serves over a billion ads a day to users of applications on Android and iOS.
