How much energy do next-gen consoles waste?
Nonprofit organization Natural Resources Defense Council conducted a survey on the consumption of electricity for the game consoles of the latest generation. It was discovered that Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's Playstation 4 used 2 to 3 times more electricity than the previous generation of consoles.
1 million PS4 consoles sold in 24 hours
PlayStation 4 on the U.S. market appeared this Friday, on 15th of November,and Sony over the weekend revealed that in the first 24 hours of availability has sold more than one million consoles, which is much higher than expected.
Several malfunctioning PS4 consoles reported
A small number of PlayStation 4 consoles which were sent ahead of the official launch appear to be malfunctioning, and users on forums and portals complained about the problems with HDMI ports.

After watching Microsoft lock everyone into an always online connection, restricting used games and requiring the Kinect to use the new Xbox, Sony catered to the annoyed masses and offered them a better deal.

Sony will be at E3 on the 10th of June of this year at an event where they will present PlayStation 4 console.
