HTC Sense 5.5 coming soon

Although they have not announced the exact date when they will let users upgrade to Sense 5.5, HTC says that this will happen very soon. According to rumors from various internet portals new upgrades can we expect when HTC has finished upgrading the Android operating system to the latest 4.3 version.

HTC marks losses for the first time since 2002.

Ever since the company became public in 2002, HTC recorded only positive business results. This week they announced a new quarterly report covering the third quarter of this year, in which HTC for the first time reported losses, which amount to 100 million dollars.

Layoffs at HTC America

HTC not giving up on Windows Phone


Last week, there have been information that HTC is leaving Windows Phone, and apparently with the aim to engage with the development of devices for Android market. Rumors were denied on twitter by the company's PR saying they were absolutely committed to their line of Windows Phone products.

Reorganization at HTC


Due to disappointing sales and financial results of the company, HTC decided to reconstruct its business. A new department was founded, headed by Mike Woodward, whose task will be to create innovative new products and the establishment of a new global strategy for the distribution of HTC's products. The Department was established in order to prevent departures of quality employees such as CEO for Asian market, Lennard Hoornik, Vice President of Global Market Greg Fisher, head of production Kouji Kodera and vice president of global communications Jason Gordan.

HTC One Mini officially launched


HTC today officially unveiled a new of their flagship device HTC One. Now officially known as the HTC One Mini, the new device brings the 4.3'' screen with 720p Super LCD screen, unlike his older brother who has a 1080p screen. As for the specs, the device has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory storage that can not be upgraded.

HTC has introduced a 5-inch smartphone called Butterfly S with very impressive specifications. The device is based on the quad-core Snapdragon 600 with 1.9 GHz clock speed (higher clock speed than the HTC One) and 2 GB of RAM, while superior components follow through the rest of the smartphone.

Unofficial photos of HTC's smartphone called HTC One Mini appeared on the internet, after rumors that were circulating for some time. Photos were published by Estonian blog Forte and on them we can see that thr device's design is very similar to One, but of course something smaller.

HTC satisfied with One sales


HTC is satisfied with the sales results of their flagship smartphone One. Unnamed company's manager for the Wall Street Journal said that so far they have sold about 5 million units HTC One.
