Crytek joining the MOBA genre
Crytek has finally officially announced its new game Arena of Fate, confirming that at the release will be available for the PC and the next gen consoles. Arena of Fate is a fantasy MOBA (although Crytek describes only multiplayer title) in which two teams of five players compete in the quest for dominance. The game will offer us a number of well-known and popular characters such as Frankenstein, Jack the Ripper and Baron Munchhausen.

Looks like there is another MOBA game just around the corner, or atleast we hope, since you never know how long will you have to wait for Blizzard to release the game they are working on.

Riot Games recently released a new video through which they emphasized just how important teamwork is for success in the League of Legends, but we can consider it effective for all other MOBA games too. Players who show sportsmanship during competition in LoL in the average win in a more than 1.7 million fights than others, and other statistics support the theory that polite and patient players earn more wins.
Strife – new MOBA game from S2

S2 Games, the creators of MOBA game Heroes of Newerth, have announced a new official statement about creating a new game called Strife, which will also be a MOBA type of game and it should be completed during the winter. S2 CEO Marc DeForest said that the main motivation for the new game was the reading an article about the five worst gaming communities, in which Heroes of Newerth took the first place, and from my personal gaming experience, I can confirm that HoN community is really horrible.
