Rockstar wins against Huawei

Chinese Huawei made a deal with the patent consortium Rockstar to avoid a lawsuit for unauthorized use of patents. This is the first of eight device manufacturers with Android which has decided he does not want to be involved in a lawsuit.

Google strikes back against Rockstar

Google began their defense from Rockstar. They claim that Android does not infringe patents for which they are targeted by patent consortium  Rockstar who is backed by giants like Microsoft and Apple. According to Rockstar, Android violates several patents for which they are claiming the rights, and besides Google in the lawsuit, there are seven of the company's partners, including Samsung and HTC.

GTA online is back in the news again as a recent update has reduced the payout for replayed missions. The move was an odd one considering the bad press they received many issues in the recent past. The move has caused more than one strongly worded comment to be posted on their support page as players do not understand why they are being penalized for wanting to play missions over again.

We have been covering the issues with GTA Online since they were first reported. Many of these issues appear to have been due to the services not being ready for general availability. Rockstar’s in ability to quickly find a fix ended up creating a rift between them and their customers. Simply put a game development company cannot react to the type of issues that we saw with GTA Online. Fortunately there is something of a happy ending to all of this.

In the realm of throwing things at the wall to see if something sticks we can add RockStar games. RockStar games has been trying anything to fix the massive number of problems that have plagued the launch of their GTA Online game. The issues have gotten so bad that many are on the verge of simply walking away. After we reported about the continuing issue with the loss of progress in the game we received multiple reports of people losing high level characters even when the game engines were reporting as online. This is not a minor issue and it certainly is one that RockStar needs to fix.

To be more precise, pictures of the official Grand Theft Auto V map leaked to the internet, which have given us an insight into the size of the area where the game will take place, and grandiosity displayed will not leave anyone indifferent - Grand Theft Auto V will indeed be a huge game.

According to VG247, Grand Theft Auto 5 has recently been listed as the most expensive game ever. It is estimated that on the development and marketing was spent 170 million pounds, and the whole thing can be compared with the budgets of the famous Hollywood film works such as Pirates of the Caribbean or Avatar.

GTA V gameplay trailer

The first gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto V revealed many details about the next chapter of the famous series. Rockstar has in the first place given a more detailed introduction of the three protagonists. It is a former bank robber Michael, that is fightining against the middle age crysis by returning to the old ways, ambitious African American Franklin and Trevor, which is easiest to describe as a total sociopath.
