ZTE releases their first Firefox OS smartphone

ZTE and Mozilla have released a media statement saying that they will soon start selling what they say is "the first Firefox OS smartphone that is based entirely on web technology" on the eBay. They also say that users with this device get the performance, personalization and price they want in a smartphone packed into a beautiful, clean, intuitive and simple user experience.

ZTE brings V81, an 8 inch tablet

ZTE has unveiled a tablet bearing the mark V81. It is a device based on Android with an eight inch diagonal screen and a 4:3 aspect ratio. It looks like they won’t let Samsung be the only major company with an 8 inch tablet on the market.

ZTE brings Nubia to the market

It is not known what led the Chinese ZTE to select Nubia for the name of their new series of high-end smartphones (some media reported that the word in Latin means "cloudy" and the ancient Egyptian "gold"), but that's exactly the name they will use for their smartphones. They announced their line of devices with this interesting name and are hoping that they will be a decent competitor to another Chinese manufacturer, Huawei.
