Free Windows 9 Upgrade Rumors Might Be Way Over Stated

As the clock ticks down to today’s “launch” of Microsoft’s next operating system the rumors are ramping up along with the articles about what Microsoft must do to make the next flavor of Windows work. One of the latest rumors to hit the streets is that Windows 9 (or whatever it will be called) will be free if you have Windows 8.x installed legally. These rumors started to circulate a couple of weeks ago, but now there is an alleged confirmation from the president of Microsoft Indonesia, Andreas Diantoro.

Window 9 Start Menu Allegedly Shown Off in Leaked Video

As the title of this article suggests there is another new video on the internet that claims to show the Windows 9 menu and how it all works. The appearance of the video comes on the heels of more than one alleged screen shot and some other items that have leaked from Microsoft themselves. As we all know Microsoft has a lot riding on the next version of Windows simply because of the lack of consumer acceptance that Windows 8.x has had.

NVidia Might Launch Two High-End GPUs in October, and One Mid-Range

The rumors are ramping up about the next generation of NVidia GPUs. Although we already know that the next GPUs (second-gen Maxwell) will not have the unified memory architecture or 20nm process size that NVidia (and everyone else hoped) that does not mean you will not be getting a good product. However, possible specs and performance are not what the latest rumor is all about. This time the rumblings are about possible launch times.

GTA 5 Could Hit the Streets on November 7th

GTA fans might have something to look forward to in November if a recent rumor turns out to be true. According to UK retailer Gameseek, the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series will be hitting the streets on November 7th 2014. This is not that far off and ties in with a few other items that have been floating around about the game.

AMD might not have a new Desktop Platform until 2016

There is a rumor that is claiming AMD will not have a new desktop processor until 2016 that has been making the rounds today. The claim is that AMD is shifting their current focus to mobile CPUs and APUs. Originally it was thought that Carrizo would be the next chip offering that that it would keep up with Intel by offering support for DDR4.
