Apple supposedly ordered 90 million iPhone 6 units from Foxconn

Lately, among the rumors related to the iPhone 6 we could usually hear that the new device will have a sapphire glass, and that Apple is working on a new A8 processor. The latest talks are about the amounts and terms of delivery of the product by Apple's favorite supplier Foxconn.

According to unnamed sources quoted by DigiTimes, Apple ordered from Foxconn 90 million units of the iPhone 6, which will represent Foxconn highest order in the company's history. The new iPhone 6 should be on the market in September this year and have 4.7 inch screen. It should also be presented along with iWatch that will also have a sapphire glass.

Is this a sign that we will get iPhone 6 earlier than expected, as it was the case with Galaxy S5? This scenario is both good and bad for the end users, because you get new flagship devices too often and without some huge improvements to previous „generation“.  But on the other hand, prices of the previous flagship devices go down, so if the manufacturers continue to give support for them, it's pretty obvious what turns out to be the "best-buy".
