The new board will feature the X58 chipset with more of a gaming twist than the RIIIE (which is an overclocking monster). The Rampage III Formula will feature items like;
NVIDIA 3-way SLI
ATI CrossFire X support
true USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s
Intel Ethernet Gigabit LAN chipset
ROG GameFirst
SupremeFX X-Fi 2 audio solution that supports EAX 5.0 and THX TruStudio PRO.
But that is not all that will be bundled with the RIIIF you will also get Asus’ Extreme Engine Digi+ power regulation system with a digital VRM controller. This should keep the power flowing to your system under the heaviest of gaming sessions. Of course you will also get features like Q-Fan Plus, BIOS Flashback, DDR3-2200 support (with overclocking) and ROG connect for remote tuning. It should be quite a product once it hits the shelves. We cannot wait to get one in the lab, but for now we have to be content with the images we have.
