The new Fifa will be officially released on September 25th in North America, but it will be available on September 21st if you are one of the subscribers to EA Sport's Season ticket program that cost $25 for 12 months. The same scenario will happen in Europe, just the pre-release date is September 22nd and the official release will 6 days later on September 28th. EA implemented a few new features in this version of Fifa, like an improved Player impact engine, AI, dribbling system, free kicks, and first touch. There are many gamers that are very satisfied with these changes and they said that it has brought fluidity to the game.
Fifa's main rival Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 will be released September 25th with Cristiano Ronaldo as their star on the front cover. I have played both of these games, well at least the previous version, and I have to say that Fifa bypassed PES in last 2-3 years. Konami doesn’t seem to be bringing anything that will significantly improve the gameplay, while EA pushes something new every year. Like I said before, Fifa has become more fluid than ever, with more realistic movements both from players and the ball. It looks like for now it has the slight edge. This is my personal opinion of course, but it is based on my gaming experience, and trust me you can take it into consideration.
