The most important feature of the device is support for Android applications, but with the use of open source operating system. The user interface is based on the gestures control. Like the BlackBerry 10 operating system, device management does not take place through physical keys , but through an on-screen gestures. As far as the hardware features, the smart phone comes with a 4.5 inch qHD display and Gorilla Glass 2 protection, Qualcomm's SoC, dual-core ARM processor running at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of free space on data storage device, with the possibility of extension with microSD cards. The rear camera brings 8 megapixel resolution while the front one comes with 2 megapixel. Support for 3G and 4G LTE is also here, along with replaceable battery.
The device is currently being sold at a price of €399, but has so far produced only 450 copies that have been reserved long ago. In Jolla are still working on the plan about greater production.
