UnwiredView transmitted mews that come from Chinese sources, and according to them the project has already stepped in late stage development. Reportedly they have made over 10,000 prototype device, and Foxconn is still making more. On the hardware side, the devices are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip 8225Q.
This was supposedly the company's plan B in case the partnership with Microsoft went into a wrong direction. Next year they should begin negotiations to renew the contract with Microsoft. Once the acquisitions department for mobiles is approved, which should happen during November, MView project should be shut down. Until then, Nokia's engineers will continue to be entertained by the development of what could be Lumia on Android.
