The Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission has launched an investigation last week against Samsung in order to determine whether the Korean giant in collaboration with their local marketing agency paid the students to post comments on the Internet harmful for the HTC.
According to small amount of information that was presented to the public about the investigation, Samsung is being investigated for "false advertising" and if Samsung is found guilty they could be fined a total of $835,000.
