Inaba reveals that cut scenes are not included in this figure. Secondly, he says that Metal Gear Rising captures only the fastest time the player took to complete a chapter. This actually means that you can spend hours in every chapter, but it depends on your gaming style. However, if you eventually manage to end it up in minutes, the game will only record the fastest time.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be coming on 19th February in the US. As it is known, it will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the previously announced PC version is still on the ice.
[Ed – I have to say that I am not sure that the explanation of the time is going to make many feel better. To claim that Cut Scenes are not part of the game would seem to indicate that there are far too many in the game. This has become a very bad pattern lately and one that actually ruins many games (Black Ops 2). A game should not be full of cut scenes and videos, but of actual game play. It is possible to do and still make a good profit. Sadly too many game development companies are cutting back on the actual amount of game play and pushing into relying on multiplayer to take up the slack. I have a bad feeling this will lead to worse and worse games in the near future. Perhaps the new Metal Gear is the first of this new trend…]
