New FEZ patch incoming

Polytron's Fez, which appeared on Xbox Live in 2012, in a very short period of time won hearts of many players with its simple and fun gameplay, but his reputation was tarnished because of the patch, which withdrew recorded progress of quite a lot players, forcing them do play the game all over again.

For financial reasons the game never got a new patch to remedy the contentious issues, and Fez director, Phil Fish justified that the money that MS asks for subsequent patching is simply too great. Microsoft sought  $40,000 from Polytron for re-certification of patches, which was despite $1.1 million earned from sales simply too much.

MS has recently rejected the practice of charging certification patch so Polytron intends to reimburse players for the problems that the first patch caused. Well, better late than never.
