Yahoo acquires startup company Wander, gets visual diary Days

Yahoo has acquired startup company Wander which is behind the application Days. It is a form of personal visual diary. Users can set their photos and animated GIFs in one package during the day. The idea is to give the photo some extra context which is often not the case when images are individually mounted on services like Instagram.

Motorola's CEO moves to Dropbox

According to Wall Street Journal, Motorola Mobility CEO Dennis Woodside will leave the company before the official acquisition by Lenovo. His new job will be at the position of COO (Chief Operating Officer) in Dropbox, a popular service for storing data in the cloud.

Lenovo pulls in a record quarter

Lenovo has released the financial report for the last quarter of 2013. It says that it was a record one for the company during which they sold 32.6 million devices. The growth compared to the same period last year was 30%, and its main generator are units from the so called PC Plus category,which are mobile phones, televisions and tablets.
