Nokia dominates Windows Phone 8 market

According to data collected by the seller company Adduplex, Nokia has huge 85.4% of the market of devices based on Windows Phone. In Adduplex also point out that Nokia has in the previous month increased its dominance in this market, and increase the share by one percentage point.

This time, the supposedly cheap iPhone in all its glory appears alongside iPhone 5.

Apple Admits to Breach in Developers' Portal

Today (Sunday July 21 2013) Apple officially admitted that someone had hacked their developer site. The notification came out as a warning that some information including names, addresses and email information might have been accessed. What we find interesting is that this announcement comes on the heels of a multi-day outage to the same site. It looks like Apple might have known about the breach earlier and not told anyone until they confirmed that user data was compromised (in which case they might have been compelled to). This is not exactly what you want to hear from a company that prides themselves on the security and safety of their operating system AND their ecosystem.

Modern version of Video Killed The Radio Star

International company Nielsen specialized  in market research, announced the results which were collected from their systems for data collection within the music industry. System SoundScan has been recording music sales in the U.S. and Canada, while the BDS was recording released music tracks on radio, television and the Internet in the same countries. According to data collected in the U.S., in the first six months of the 2013, the sales of albums and individual music tracks fell by 4.6% compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, the music streaming increased by about 24% to 51 billion streams.
